Jeremy Frank

Owner, Lowcountry Piano Services

Hello, my name is Jeremy Frank. I am a native of the South Carolina Lowcountry. My journey with the piano began at the age of seven. After five years of playing, I took a break, but my passion for music was reignited during high school when I joined the marching band. There, I played the saxophone and keyboards. It was only when I started playing music that truly resonated with me that I found joy in playing the piano. As my enthusiasm grew, I dedicated countless hours to practice, sometimes for five or six hours a day.

In college, I pursued a major in biology while nurturing my love for music. I enrolled in jazz lessons at the College of Charleston and explored various classes in music performance, improvisation, and music history. My fascination with piano tuning had always been present, yet I hadn't pursued it actively.

In 2020 I purchased a used piano and embarked on a journey of self-teaching, drawing from correspondence courses, online resources, and books. My confidence grew as I tuned pianos for friends and family, eventually leading me to establish my own piano service business in the Lowcountry. As an active member of the Piano Technicians Guild (PTG), I am continually expanding my knowledge and honing my skills in the field of piano technology.

Membership in the PTG has proven invaluable to me. I am grateful to fellow guild members who have generously shared their expertise and offered guidance whenever I've sought it. If you're interested in learning more about the PTG, you can click on the PTG logo at the bottom of any page.

When Iā€™m not tuning, repairing, or playing the piano, you will find me tending to yard work at home or spending time with my wonderful wife and children.

Are you ready to enjoy your piano like never before?
