Terms of Service

Last Updated: April 12, 2026

Welcome to Lowcountry Piano Services. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website, www.LowcountryPianoServices.com, and the services we provide. By accessing or using our website or scheduling services, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our site or services.

1. Services Provided

Lowcountry Piano Services offers professional piano tuning, maintenance, repairs, and related services. All services are by appointment only.

2. Service Scope and Time Allocation

Services are performed within the time frame associated with the selected service level. Specific tasks completed during the appointment will vary based on the piano’s condition, needs, and the available time.

Descriptions of services listed on our website are intended as examples of what may be performed during a given service, not a guaranteed list of included tasks.

Additional work beyond the scheduled service duration may require booking additional time or a higher service level.

3. Appointments and Cancellations

Appointments must be scheduled in advance via our website, phone, or email.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, at least 24 hours’ notice is required.

Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment will be subject to a fee of up to 50% of the scheduled service price.

No-shows will be charged the full service rate.

4. Service Access and Preparedness

The client is responsible for ensuring clear and safe access to the piano at the scheduled time.

If the piano is obstructed, requires moving, or is not in a serviceable condition upon arrival, service may be limited or rescheduled, and applicable fees may apply.

5. Pricing and Payment

Prices are listed on our website and are subject to change.

Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed in advance.

Accepted payment methods include cash, check, credit/debit cards, and other approved options.

A processing fee may apply to card payments.

Any additional repairs or work beyond the original service scope may incur extra charges, which will be discussed beforehand.

Late or unpaid invoices may be subject to additional fees or collection efforts.

6. Gate Access Fees

If your community requires a gate pass, access fee, or special entry procedures for service providers, any related charges will be added to your invoice.

If a pass must be picked up at a location other than the main gate, please inform us in advance.

Additional time required for entry may either be billed separately or reduce the time available for your scheduled piano service.

7. Environmental Conditions

Piano tuning stability is affected by environmental factors such as humidity, temperature, and usage.

Lowcountry Piano Services cannot guarantee tuning stability where environmental conditions fluctuate significantly.

Recommendations for humidity control or environmental improvements may be provided when necessary.

8. Delays and Arrival Windows

While every effort is made to arrive on time, appointment times may vary due to traffic, prior service complexity, or unforeseen circumstances.

Clients will be notified if significant delays occur.

9. Service Guarantee

We aim for complete customer satisfaction. If you experience any concerns with the service provided, please contact us within seven (7) days.

This guarantee applies only to the work performed during the original service appointment. We will make every reasonable effort to address and resolve any concerns.

10. Limitation of Liability

Lowcountry Piano Services is not liable for pre-existing conditions, hidden damage, or defects in your piano that may affect the results of our service.

We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

11. Right to Refuse Service

Lowcountry Piano Services reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service if conditions are unsafe, inappropriate, or outside the scope of normal service.
